Prostate Biopsy:
Ultrasound probe is inserted in the rectum. Sound waves from the probe are used to create images on a video monitor. With the images as a guide, a small biopsy needle is inserted through the rectum into the prostate. Tissue samples are removed for further examinations. The tissue samples are sent to lab for a diagnosis.
Macroplastique (Bulking agent):
Urethral bulking is a less invasive treatment option for women with a specific type of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) called intrinsic sphincter deficiency (ISD). In these women, the muscles surrounding the urethra can no longer close properly to hold the urine in the bladder.
